Topic Summary:  Daughters, look at the lioness. Watch her closely. Let her awaken your untamed nature , your fierce beauty, and your unbridled strength so you can rise up and be the courageous women I have called you to be.

Guest Moderator: Karin VanZant

Karin is a woman of faith having been brought up in the United Methodist Church and carrying forward with the Wesley tradition of living out her faith in the work she does in community. She brings 25 years of experience working in and among low-income, underserved populations who utilize government safety net benefits to help close critical service gaps and make ends meet. She is a nationally recognized thought leader in Social Determinants of Health (SDOH), playing an integral role in influencing the recent shift as healthcare systems moved to blend social care into healthcare delivery, allowing for improved quality outcomes and reduced healthcare spending. She has lived her entire life in Clark County Ohio, married her high school sweetheart, raised an amazing son who came home to start his family and is a Grammy to 1 beautiful baby girl that is already changing the world.
