Zoom Study of the Book of Ephesians

Do you like to study God’s Word one book at a time, chapter-by-chapter? If so, this 6-week study of the book of Ephesians is for you! We will take a birds-eye view but occasionally swoop in for a closer look as we study one chapter each week.
This study allows Scripture to interpret Scripture by looking at books outside of Ephesians which shed light on the truths we will be studying. Our goal in this study is to draw closer to our Lord and to know Him more.
In this study you will be reminded of all the blessings you have in Christ, the Lord’s redemptive power, your access to the Father through the Son, and, my personal favorite, the armor of God! What a rich book!
The book of Ephesians has been called "the crown of Paul’s writings," and the "greatest and most relevant of his works." W. O. Carver said, "Ephesians is the greatest piece of writing in all of history." It may well be the "most influential document ever written."
You will have homework each week which will prepare you for the Zoom discussion time. The answers are easily found in the Word - this is not a difficult study. This homework will take you about 1-2 hours per week. If you are unable to complete your homework, we still want you to join us for discussion time! You will be blessed and so will the rest of us!

Rita James is a Bible teacher who also enjoys writing Bible studies. She has 3 grown children and 11 grandchildren, one of whom studies the Word with her. She also enjoys golf, pickle ball and hiking with her husband of 48 years.
Rita was saved when she was a mom of three small children, and was immediately drawn into Bible study. She soon discovered the inductive method of study which proved to be a pathway for her to grow deeper in the Word. Over the years, Rita has taught various classes at her church and on Zoom. Thirteen years ago the Lord blessed her with an amazing small group of women which is still together today. When the group was no longer able to find studies that met their needs, Rita began writing studies based on books of the Bible.
Over the last 10 years Rita has taught various classes on Bible Study methods as well as leading studies through books of the Bible. Her passion is to study deep and long but to write a study that allows busy women to ponder and then discuss one Bible chapter a week. Rita appreciates the opportunity to be used by God in her spiritual gift of teaching. She considers each teaching opportunity to be a holy privilege.
