A woman who spends time in God’s word, in prayer, and in the presence of God, is a powerful woman. During our busy lives, too often we do not pray enough. Are we taking the time to get in God’s presence to pour our hearts out before Him? Are we ready to share with Him the deepest longings of our heart?

Guest Moderator: Kim Vesey

Kim Vesey has spent her 40-year nursing career in hospice care supporting the dying and those who love them. She is a trained spiritual director and a certified hospice and palliative care nurse, as well as a certified Thanatologist (the study of death and grief).

Kim is a woman of strong faith. She has experienced significant personal losses in her immediate family including her husband, her daughter, and most recently, her mother. She has been a volunteer Sunday school teacher for more than 30 years as well as other volunteer roles in her church.

Kim is the founder of What Cloud Grief Resources. She is an author, TEDx Speaker, and speaks nationally on death and grief, with a special focus on children’s grief. Her six books (a series about grief, for kids) address the loss of a mommy, daddy, grandma, grandpa, and sister or brother.
